Good to be back!

For some reason – still unknown to me – my website stopped working at the beginning of this week!

I didn’t discover it straight away, but when I did, and no-one could tell me what had happened, I was resigned to starting all over again to build a new website.

I had been thinking for some time of a website refresh, so it wasn’t too depressing, but I knew it would take me many hours – time when I could be working on my knitwear!

However, I’m very pleased to say that, despite having little technical knowledge, I managed to restore the site and after a bit of tinkering have got it back to how it was again!

Meanwhile – I have now put together an ebook of my recent accessory designs using Cascade Fingering wool (see previous post) and it is available to purchase from Ravelry and LoveCrafts.

The ebook contains patterns for a beanie, beret and mitts – all using a 2-colour fair-isle pattern with a contrast facing or edging; and gloves with an openwork lace pattern – either long or half-fingered. Each pattern is also available separately.

The idea of these pieces was that they could be mixed and matched – for example the long armwarmers could be worn over the fingerless gloves – and by choosing perhaps 3 colours knitters could make the most of the yarn with matching pieces.
