My first experience of having a design published in a magazine was for Essentials in the 1991. The design was based on the collection I had designed in 1990 (see collections)

At the same time as I started designing for Rowan in 2004 (see separate page here), I also submitted designs to Vogue Knitting magazine and Knit Simple, examples of which can be seen here.

I was approached by Juliet Bernard in 2008 to design for a new knitting magazine she was editing – The Knitter. I have been designing regularly for the magazine ever since!

I have also had designs in their sister magazine – Simply Knitting – as well as Knitting magazine.
