Ennerdale cardigan

This unusual cardigan was inspired by nature. A texture of ‘plants and flowers’ has been created with the use of raised stitches along the hem of front and back, and at the cuffs.

The remainder of the garment is knitted in reverse stocking stitch.

Yarn: The cardi is knitted using The Fibre Co. Lore, a gorgeous, heathered DK weight 100% lambswool 250m/273yds per 100g skein.

Sizes & yarn quantities: The pattern gives instructions for sizes 32-50 ins/81-127 cm, using between 5-7 skeins.

Tension: 21 sts & 30 rows to 10 cm over stocking stitch using 3.75mm knitting needles

Needles etc: A pair 3.75mm (UK 9/US 5) knitting needles; a pair 3.25mm (UK 10/US 4) knitting needles

Removable stitch markers, stitch holders, small cable needle 6 x 20mm buttons
