Titian

Titian is a neat little shaped jacket with pocket flaps, a back half-belt and covered buttons.

The jacket design was influenced by the style of the early 1960s. It is knitted in a simple pattern of stocking stitch with rows of reverse stocking stitch, with lines of shaping at the front and back.

Yarn: The cardigan is knitted using Rowan Pure Wool 4 ply – a 4ply superwash merino wool (160m (175yds) per 50g ball)

Sizes & yarn quantities: the pattern gives instructions for sizes 32 (34: 36: 38: 40: 42: 44: 46) ins/81 (86: 91: 97: 102: 107: 112: 117)cms and uses 8 (9: 10: 10: 11: 11: 12: 13) balls

Tension: 28sts and 36 rows to 4ins (10cms) using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.

Needles etc: pair of 3mm (US 2-3), 3.25mm (US 3), 3.75mm (US 5) knitting needles. Plus 8 x 22mm buttons.
