Chaconne

Originally designed as part of a two-piece set for The Knitter magazine, Chaconne is a simple, versatile T-shirt knitted in a beautifully soft lace-weight yarn.

Neat and elegant this T-shirt is knitted in stocking stitch, with an edging of garter stitch at the sleeve and along the bottom edge. The T-shirt has waist shaping for a more feminine look. (See separate page for Lace Scarf)

Yarn: The top is knitted using Rooster Delightful Lace– a gorgeous 80% alpaca/20% silk laceweight yarn (799m/874yd – 100g skein)

Sizes & yarn quantities: The pattern gives instructions for sizes  32-42ins(71- 107cm bust, using 1 (1:2: 2: 2: 2: 2: 2) x 100g skeins

Tension: 29.5sts and 42 rows to 4″ (10cms) stocking stitch using 3mm needles

Needles etc: pair of 3mm/US 2; 3.25mm/US 3 needles
