Garland

Garland

Garland is a lovely raglan jumper with a high fitted rib, a plunging V-neck back, 3/4 length sleeves and a decorative embroidered and beaded edge.

Without the embroidery the jumper still makes an attractive 1950s style top that would look great worn with a skirt or jeans.

Yarn: The jumper is knitted using Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk – a 4ply yarn 75% merino wool, 20% silk and 5% cashmere (168m(184yds) per 50g).

Sizes & yarn quantities: The pattern gives instructions for sizes 32-42 ins (81-107cm) bust, using 6 (6:7:7:8:8) balls of yarn.

Tension: 28sts and 36 rows to 4ins (10cms) using 3.25mm (US 3) needles in stocking stitch

Needles etc: 3mm (US 2-3) circular needle, pair of 2.75mm (US 2) & 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles. Approx 500 x 3mm glass beads. Small amount of contrast yarn for embroidery.
